Description
Sweet and colorful, these make wonderful decorations as well as dinner. Our striped delicata squash are sweet, nutty, and have tender skins. Typically I slice them in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. I either roast the halves face down in a pan with a bit of water or slice them into half moons, toss with oil, and roast them on a sheet pan. Store at room temperature or use as a decoration until you’re ready to eat them.
Price is for 1 larger or 2 smaller squash, around 1.5 pounds.
