Description
Sweet and colorful, these make wonderful decorations as well as dinner. These are an heirloom pie pumpkin that makes the most velvety and delicious pumpkin pie. They are a pale orange with unique netted skin. Typically I slice them in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. I usually roast the halves face down in a pan with a bit of water until soft, then peel and puree them after cooling. Store at room temperature or use as a decoration until you’re ready to eat them.
Price is for 1 pumpkin, average around 4-5 pounds.
